Dec. Somatic Yin Restorative Tues
Fall Into Winter
Available spots
Service Description
This slow, grounding practice invites you to align with the energy of late autumn heading into Winter. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, fall is connected with the Metal element, which governs the lungs and large intestine—organs tied to breath, letting go, and creating space for newness. As we head towards the Winter season, we slowly move into the time of deep rest and replenishment of the Water element. Through long-held yin postures, gentle breathwork, and mindful stillness, we’ll support the lungs, open the chest, and ease tension in the hips and spine. This practice helps us soften, slow down, and replenish our energy. Yin postures are held longer, focusing less on form or anatomy and more on the overall energetic experience and energy flow within the form. While the practice can be challenging, the effort comes through surrendering All levels are welcome. Bring layers for comfort and an openness to pause, reflect, and receive.
