Skeletal System – Landing and locating in your bones. Explore the connections between your bones and the earth. Discover how bone-to-bone and bone-to-earth dynamics shape your movement and sense of ground. The essence of embodiment—and the closely related concept of somatic awareness—invites us into a conversation with our bodies that goes beyond conscious thought. This process helps us map our internal landscape and allows the body to become more attuned to itself. When the body remembers itself through the many lenses of perception available, it begins to reclaim a sense of wholeness—feeling the completeness and connection to both our inner world and the environment around us. In this workshop, embodiment begins in the bones. We’ll start with lecture and discussion to establish the foundation for our experience, then move into guided movement and meditation focused on the bones. We’ll explore the intimate relationships that emerge in our physical awareness, expanding our understanding of mental, physical, and emotional landscapes. Our primary relationship is with the ground—Mother Earth. Notice how you can land and locate yourself within these dynamics, fostering coherence, clarity, and ease in your body.
