With a light-hearted and sincere approach, Mary guides others to remember themselves as integrated, whole-hearted beings living in synchronicity with others and as part of the natural world.
Mary’s foundations in movement began in traditional and modern yoga perspectives. Over many years, her movement modalities have become infused through her extensive studies in related fields, including somatic awareness, human development, mindfulness, trauma, poly-vagal theory and personal experience. Having earned certifications and training in multidisciplinary approaches to whole-body understanding, she has studied trauma-informed yoga, prenatal yoga, EmbodiYoga®, Coreawareness®, Yin yoga, therapeutic applications in yoga, and more. From this extensive array of methods, practices with Mary often take a creative journey into territories that bring about more curiosity and deeper understanding.
Specializing in private and small group interactions to bring out the true essence of her intuitive offerings, Mary sees clients both online and in studio settings. She offers individual and group classes and workshops to all. Mary is the founder of The Heart of Teaching 200-hour RYT certification and continuing education programs for yoga teachers.
She supports children, educators, and schools through her partnerships with Zensationalkids ® as a program developer and facilitator bridging yoga and mindfulness into educational institutions.
