Living Body

What if it is true
that your body is always on our side?
And that it can also get things wrong.
What if movement keeps us alive
and stillness keeps us sane?
Or maybe stillness keeps us alive
and movement keeps us sane?
What if the sky and space hold consciousness,
like our fascia and fluids hold our spirit?
What if our bones are made of stardust
and carry our living ancestry?
What is possible when we engage
with our living bodies from the place of what if?
Curiously, without criticism,
only possibility?
Would you feel more alive?
More connected to yourself? To the world?
And how would that feel to you?
Would you find what it is you are searching for
inside and outside of you?
And then what? What if you did?
